The Department of Chemistry at the University of Hartford invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Biochemistry beginning Fall 2015. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry. (Advanced ABD candidates will be considered.) The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent research program at the undergraduate level. Primary teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses in biochemistry, introductory chemistry with potential for advanced courses in the candidate’s field of expertise. Recent teaching experience as well as the ability to contribute to undergraduate courses in physical and analytical chemistry is desirable.
