MEYERHOFF SCHOLARS AT UMBC OFFICIALLY PARTNER WITH MARCH FOR SCIENCE

We are proud to announce that the Meyerhoff Scholars at UMBC are listed as official partners with the March for Science. Comprised by nearly 300 undergraduates and over 1,000 alumni, the Meyerhoff Scholars Program represents one of the largest bodies of STEM scholars and professionals of color in the US.  Led by our commitment to leadership, scholarship, and diversity, we publicly endorse the March for Science and teach-in scheduled for Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, 2017. Partnering with March organizers gives our community a voice on a broader, national stage and promotes both Meyerhoff and UMBC as leaders in STEM. We believe that the non-partisan principles and goals of the March align with our family’s values and stand firm in our commitment to support its efforts.

If you’d like to participate but can’t make it to Washington, we encourage you to find a regional march in your area. For those alumni and students who plan to attend, we encourage you to also officially RSVP with the march at: https://www.marchforscience.com/rsvp/ and for those who did not sign up to go to the march with us but would now like to please email us at Meyerhoffscholarsalumni@gmail.com
